My car started shaking one day all of a sudden. It turned out it was one of the spark plug WIRES. One had been leaning on the hot engine manifold, and had burnt in two and as soon as the bad wire was replaced, the car stopped shaking. And the check engine light went off.

I have a Jeep Liberty and recently the radiator cap got busted but I replaced it after 2 days but now the car shakes a little when backing out and when braking it usually happens whenever I hit speed between 10-20mph

If you have addressed tyres, wheel alignment etc. and is still vibrating, (usually around 50mph mark) - it is your brakes! Can be very scary as the vibrations are felt through the steering wheel and can get quite intense - feels as though the car could fall apart.. Happened to me very recently. Take in to a garage as soon as you can as you may be doing more damage. Front passenger side caliper had worn and had got that hot it had welded to the disc. Vibrating happens before it seizes altogether.
