Dry skin patches are very common and not usually cause for concern. Once you determine the underlying cause, treat it accordingly.

i have that same patch on my hand in the same location. Is there a reason people get it in that location?

I have noticed at first just a dryness on top of arm then my pelvic bone sides, now I have them on various places all over my body. You can't see just feel, at first I thought just dry patch but then I keep feeling ill on and off too. Please someone just tell me is normal. I'm 48 years old if that makes any difference I have pain relief for spinal probably.

I have noticed a few small dark dry patches on my body..I do take long hot showers and don't use a moisturizer like I should. I also have sensitive skin. I just started using 100 percent African Shea butter. I also will stop taking hot showers and see if these things help.
