As you start to eat more of the foods that are beneficial and neutral, and stop eating the ones that are harmful for your blood type, your health should improve. The more strict you are, the faster the improvement should be. In my case, eating too many grains, pastas, and potatoes where the cause of my high blood pressure. I immediately cut them out of my diet 10 days ago and my BP is almost normal now for the first time in 10 years - without medication. There is a Blood Type O cookbook that helps some to readjust to a the new way of eating. My old way of eating was based around meat and carbs.

For Boice - I went to a doctor that specialised in the Blood Diet while I was in Spain - she told me that I had to stay completely away from Chicken and eggs - all birds and bird products in fact - only eat beef and lamb - all vegetables but avoid tomatoes, best fruit to eat is prunes, plums, pinapple and cherries - avoid rest, avoid anything with dairy (cows milk etc) - stay away from lemon juice and citron (harsh I use alot of that cooking!) - all wheat producing products. I also have to drink at least 2 litres of water a day and as I'm really quite overweight I had to eat at least 6 meals a day (I tend to squeeze in 8 if poss)., all small meals and the last one to be eaten around 6pm. - I've tried an extraordinary amount of diets over the years but this is the only one that really worked and kept the weight of for quite a while! :-)
