@ : Don't be too worried. Sometimes, especially when it in your first year, your period won't come for awhile. One time, I didn't have mine for five months. And I've never had sex.

I am 18, I started when I was almost 14 I think, I've heard your weight/size can have effects on how early you start too. I don't mean anything negative by it, I've just heard it can contribute to it.

@kim if you JUST started your period a few months ago, like your first period its ok that it didnt come back on. At first, your period will be irregular because your body is getting used to the fact that you started. But dont worry, it should come back on soon and become regular. If it doesn't, ask females in your family if theirs are. or see a doctor

Hi. I'm 15. Last month my period was a week late. My boyfriend and I had sex and I didn't come on when I was due. It was a week later that I came on the day after I took a pregnancy test so I put it down to stress. This month I was due on 2 days ago but I haven't yet come on. My boyfriend and I have a protected sex but I'm still unsure, can you help?

For all the girls on here who are young and haven't gotten their period yet and want it; you really don't want it. You may think you want it to come, but it really sucks. Once it becomes regular after like a year, then every month you'll be curled up on your couch or bed in extreme pain wishing you could become a dude or die. I got mine when I was 13. I'm almost 16 now. Enjoy your life of no worrying about this while you still can. Once you do get your period, you'll find that you'll be jealous of the girls who haven't gotten theirs yet. Periods probably don't seem that bad when you haven't gotten it, but it screws up so much. Your hormones, appetite, and your mood. Getting your period helps you begin to realize why grown women in your life tell you to stay a little kid for as long as you can. Also, even thou it is weird to actually think about, if you don't poop very much in general, you will a lot more once you start your period. That is tied in with the screwed up hormones. And when you do have your period and can't tell if it's cramps or needing to poop, it's probably both.
