This is one of the saddest things I have ever read. It's as if taking your child's life is a totally normal thing to do. It also puts the mother at risk of hurting herself. There is never a situation so desperate, that you need to take an innocent life..

It's much safer to just see a doctor. There's no guarantee any of these will work without, possibly dangerous, complications.

@ Athy : It is much safer, but when you absolutely cannot see a doctor due to parental involvement teenagers get desperate. I can't even go to the store or be in my room without being interrogated, let alone go to a doctors appointment without anyone knowing.

@ Ray : I was raped, I got pregnant. And I was 13 years old. But ya know what? I kept my daughter. Tbh, I don't think anyone should ever abort or purposely miscarry. Give the baby up for adoption. Don't be sick enough to end your child's life.

@ christinalynnblair9 : There are hundreds of thousands of children already in the system, most "waiting for adoption" until they age out. Being pregnant is also very hard on the body, especially young bodies. If anything, I'd rather have an abortion now and wait until I can guarantee the child is going to have a safe life than put them in the system. That's disgusting.
