I’m so glad I stumbled upon your article! Being on reddit really does help. Anyway, my skin turns red really often. I’ve been trying to figure out my triggers so I can give my dermatologist a better idea. They recommend that I start using an anti redness cream. Is there any cream you can suggest? I’ve heard good things about redness creams that help calm the skin and take away the color. As someone who deals with facial redness often I think this would be helpful for me.

Hello, I'm 17 and my skin on my face is very red because I used to have acne, and the product i was prescribed burnt my skin. However, I haven't used that in over 6 months and the redness is still there - could any of these help to permanently reduce it or?

I'm a 60 yr old male who works out at least four times a week. Several years ago I faced the sudden appearance of the scarlet C on the right side of my face. I quickly discovered a range of products titled Jack Black was the cause. After stopping use the redness and rash vanished and the returned and until recently I just suffered. My doctor did a series of blood test and determined I had a Vitamin D definicy and prescribed a heavy dose to be taken once a week. He suggested I use a mild soap, then use lukewarm water and one part vinager and then when dry dab a bit of Rosehip oil on the red spots. It's been about 10 days and I see 100% improvement. Not sure if it was all three or just one but my face is better. I will say the Rosehip does make my face look and feel better and I use a few drops in my hair after showering. Best of lick.

I'm a thirteen-year-old girl who lives in a very cold place, and over the past two days, two reddened patches of skin have appeared on my forehead. I'm not too worried as they seem to get better a little every day, but if anyone knows a long-term solution to get rid of redness, please let me know! Also, if you get any small, violent red blotches, try covering it up with toothpaste and letting it dry (I prefer overnight) which will dry out and shrink the size of most pimples and I have found it reduces redness for a substantial amount of time.

I'm a 16 year old girl and for I think a year I have had quite bad rednes in my cheeks. I don't think it's to do with any allergic reaction as I don't use the same products that often. It really worrying me as its really ugly and I'm really self conscious about it
