after anyone hit the bump healed did you repierce your nose?

I had my nose pierced on June 2nd I got it done on the right side of my nose a week later the professional said I could switch to a hoop because my nose was completely healed, and I did around 2 weeks of having the hoop I got a large lump on the side of my nose I popped it and switched to a stud and the bump was gone so I figured it was just the jewelry so I bought a new hoop once again the lump was back so i switched to a stud and it still came back I started to wear tape over the lump and it went away however after a month of the tape it came back... I honestly don't know what to do I think it's because I sleep on my right side and my nose must get irritated from it.

I had a bump on my nose shortly after I got my nose pierced. It was red and looked like a pimple and would go away and then come back. I tried all of the above treatments but none of them worked for long. A friend of mine told me to use sea salt so I placed a drop of water where the bump was and then covered it with sea salt. I let it dry and went to bed with it on my nose 2 days in a row and it went away and didn't come back. Every now and then it gets irritated so I just use a sea salt and water mixture and swab the area. Also, try not to move your piercing too much or touch it with dirty hands and keep it as dry as possible to prevent infections.

I got my nose pierced August 9th and it fell out alot since I've gotten it... one of the days it fell out I was sleeping and didn't feel it so it closed!!! And when I realized it was gone I couldn't feel my nose ring so I woke up and didn't see the hole so I immediately put it in and it went through halfway and I iced it before I repierced it and put it through. When this happened it was about 4 so I went to sleep woke up and noticed that I had a numb AROUND my nose and I thought it was just swollen so I left it alone and thought it would go down twisted my nose ring every night, cleaned it, I did my normal routine but more times a day and noticed the bump wouldn't come down so somebody recommended that I should drain it and I had a needle from the hospital so it was clean and not even opened yet. So I stuck a needle in there and I saw blood and so I kept poking it and i saw a red bump this time and it looked like tissue but it hurt when I touched it I started putting tape like stuff on my nose piercing so it would come out at night and so my bump would go away I changed my nose ring twice, that fell out a couple time today in fact it came out while I was sleep my hair got caught in it and I got up immediately and couldn't find the nose ring on my bed so I took my new nose ring (hoop) to be exact as the bump went down but it's still there not as bad but I don't know how to get rid of it cause it should more now that I have a hoop what do I do!

I noticed a small bump around my piercing about a month and a half after getting it done for the 2nd time. It was pulled out about a week before the bump appeared. My sister was looking at it and poked it with a needle to see if it was infected or not it started to blurred and tear apart so she decided just to cut around it and inside of it I'm not quite sure it's sage to do that it's only been about a half hour so I'm not sure weather to clean it or take the piercing out and just get the other side pierced

You're not supposed to twist your nose ring.

I noticed this bump next to my newly pierced nose shortly after I got it done and immediately went to google to find a quick remedy. This is the site I found and I've tried a couple of these remedies such as the salt water compress, the aspirin paste, and tee tree oil. They advise you not to squeeze or burst the bump. I tried so hard not to. I saw a person comment that they just mixed the aspirin with sea salt, tea tree oil, and water into a paste and left it on over night for two days and their bump cleared up. I figured this would be my quick fix but after several nights of doing this my bump did become somewhat smaller and became a pus bump but did not go away. So then I tried the tea tree oil remedy. Again the bump grew smaller but didn't completely go away. After talking to a friend who suggested that it was only after she popped her bump that it began to really heal, I took her advice. Yesterday morning I popped the bump and cleaned it with sea salt water and continued the tea tree oil remedy and now I see a significant difference! Pop the bump if you can and then treat it! I'm not saying this is a healthy way to do it and it may not work for everyone but it has helped me.
